When I started HJC I didn't know how the business would look one year down the line, let alone twenty four. What I did know though, from my many years of experience in both corporate and private property, was that the process of buying or selling a home can be painful and I'd seen the impact (both positive and negative) that an estate agent can have on that process. I was confident that it could be better.
Let's start with buying a house. It should be one of the most exciting purchases a person makes in their lifetime. It should be thrilling, a real moment of accomplishment. However the convoluted and bureaucratic system in this country means it's usually the opposite for everyone involved.
How different could it be if you could trust your chosen agent to guide you with complete honesty during the buying process? If you could trust them to say to you 'I don't think this is the home for you' rather than showing you properties that don't fit your budget or specifications.
How different could it be if you felt supported from the moment of making an offer right the way through to completion, if you were kept in the loop and had your questions answered promptly, not just during the 9-5 office hours. You should feel that your agent cares, because a good agent really does. We certainly do.
If you're reading this as a seller thinking, 'well, what good is this to me? I don't want an agent who'll tell buyers my home isn't right for them', let me tell you - upfront honesty will find you the right buyer, on a quicker timescale, with less negotiation on your asking price. Every time. We're here to find you the right buyer, not just any buyer. I'd say that's what makes us different from your average high street agent.
You don't have to take my word for it. Our reviews speak for themselves and I couldn't be more proud of the experience my team has provided for our clients.
