With live music, lots of family friendly activities, great food and drink Surbiton Festival is a fantastic community event run by volunteers.
The Surbiton Festival has been in existence for over 25 years and is entirely run and managed by unpaid volunteers. Initially inspired by the Surbiton Rotary club and still sponsored by them to this day, the festival has grown in size and demographic to encompass all that is great about the area.
The aims of the committee are to create a community based enjoyable time for all age groups and across all social barriers. The opportunities for local young people to experience live performance, the chance for small business to promote their offerings, the showcasing of all that is good about the area with a real ‘village fete’ feel in the centre of a bustling and thriving town.
From live music to stalls to a teddy bears picnic for younger residents, the festival is not to be missed.
